    Default Advertisement Gallery UPDATE

A new gallery has been installed onto the Digital Press website, it's the "gallery of advertisements", which promises to be the single largest archive of magazine adverts this side of the time-space continuum.

It's starting small but now that the pieces are in place, it's "go time".

    http://www.digitpress.com/art.htm

SPECIAL THANKS to Jim "TheVideoGameMaster" for his time dedicated to scanning in the initial gallery you see here.

If YOU would like to contribute (all it really takes is a scanner, some old magazines, and time), please PM or email me at digitalpress@email.com

    Enjoy!

It's down for me too, typical 404 error. If I get access to a scanner, I'll try to nab some others.

MAJOR update this weekend. If you haven't checked this out yet, please do!

Note: the page has been taken down a few times because it's been getting LEECHED - I'll likely have to resort to what we did with the emulation stuff, moving them over to our mirror site. Or get a T1 line outta here

I just got a new scanner for xmas and have a bunch of old computer related magazines sitting around the garage (mostly C64/Amiga related, but a few older gaming ones). I'll see what treasure I can find out there.

    SIGNIFICANT update this past weekend.

If you haven't checked this out yet, please do. It's just SO cool to look at, even if you don't pore over every ad. Just having the thumbnails laid out on screen will bring back some memories.

I added a 3DO gallery this weekend as well, with advertisements for two games that were never released!

Check it out, I mean it.

I know it's not a game ad per se, but I have an old TI 99/4a ad dating from 1983. I could scan it for the site, if you're interested.

i have an assload of NES, SNES, N64, Gameboy ads i'll scan once i get my hands on that scanner at target. I'd be more then happy to send em and put em here. Anyone else out there collect ads? I know o2williams does since i traded him a bunch of old comic books with ads in them. I am always looking for NES ads that i don't have. In an ideal world i would like to frame each ad and place them in a huge room... but since i don't live in an ideal world, good luck with that i guess.. maybe when i have tons of money i will.

I have years and years and years worth of C64 mags. I've been looking for a reason to go through them "one last time" before tossing them out, and this could be the project for that!

A second plus, my wife and son are out of town this week. 7 days of guilt free computer/gaming time!

Anyone interested in scanning some ads, you can use the FTP information above. Please let me know that you've put something up there so I can grab it - also let me know how you'd like to be listed as a contributor (see the adverts page as it is today for a visual).

    Thanks, all.

You mean before you sell them.
