Default Anybody know anything about Captain Comic for NES?

I got this game today at a thrift called Captain Comic : The Adventure by Color Dreams for the NES.

It's a weird looking NES cart. The label is upside down, and it has a little press here thing on it.

Just wondering if anybody knows anything about it.

It's just a loose cart. And the cart itself, is this really light green. It's weird.

That's a Color Dreams cart for sure - they're unlicensed, kind of unusual, but nothing terribly rare.

Captain Comic itself is one of my favorite games, but the NES version is totally butchered. Go download the old PC original - fantastic!

I used to play the original all the time as a kid... I found the game recently for the NES, and it is just like I remember it actually. Cheap hits abound!

I'll have to DL the old one and see if it is any better with age

the upside down label version is a little rarer than the right side up label version. is the press here thing part of the plastic or is it a sticker? there's very few press here stickers around.

    It's part of the plastic.

Do you have any idea what a loose cart like this is worth?

Captain Comic for the PC is one of the first games I ever played - and I've loved it ever since I first played it.

Agreed - the NES version is a total travesty.

Hmm...I feel like playing that game now...

I've played a bit of the PC Captain Comic...pretty wierd game, but an interesting platformer no less. I should try it out again sometime, as well as find this NES release...strange that it's been mentioned a few times in the last month here.
