Default Newest KILLER Atari 2600 Pickups! :)

Ok, well, maybe there not "OMG, I just got 6 prototypes" killer. But to find a lot of decently scarce/rare stuff in one place for .99 each isn't bad. This guy obviously just traded in an ass load of Atari games to one of my local game stores and I got a shot at digging in the box before anyone else and came out with....

    Miner 2049er
    Taz
    Beany Bopper
    Name This Game
    Eggomania
    Gopher
    Planet Patrol
    Jr. Pac Man
    Moonsweeper
    M*A*S*H
    The Earth Dies Screaming
    Wizard Of Wor

and the rest are not rare....but they were complete so I got em anyways.

    Canyon Bomber
    Combat
    Space Invaders
    Outlaw
    Video Olympics
    Asteriods
    Breakout
    Defender (Atari 5200)

Oh, and took a picture for the hell of it too, so tell me what you think!...

Nice Find! You picked up some pretty rare games. Even the boxed Combat is worth teh .99 cents.
Somebody make me a "CGE 2k7 Attendee banner" so I don't have to use this lame text

I love the original colored Atari 2600 boxes, don't you? Seeing them in a stack like that just gives me a warm fuzzy feeling, reminds me of a time when I was younger and would see them like that on an Atari catalog and WISH that I could have that stack in my bedroom.

    Nice pick-up, Cmosfm!

If you got all that for around $20, great pick-up.

Nice! I'm still missing Moonsweeper and The Earth Dies Screaming, and I have around 360 carts. TEDS is especially hard to find in my experience.

Yeah, to me "The Earth Dies Screaming" is an extremely brutal and grotesque sounding name for an Atari game.

Even Beat em' and Eat em' is more wholesome sounding than that one...ya know, wholesome like a shot of protein

I'll speak up in favor of Beany Bopper - a super silly, fast-paced, and very underrated game. Beany Bopper, Beany Bopper...
