I recently discovered Crystalis for the first time, and it's great! Where has this game been hiding all my life? Another new found 8-bit treasure is a game called Milk and Nuts (or is it Nuts and Milk?) that is contained on my 42 in 1. It's an early era famicom game and it's really fun and addictive.

Escape from Monkey Island (PC, didnt know there was a game patch, before it was impossible to get one of the steps to work, I HATE that)
Gran Turismo 2 (PS1 because it has my car in it and I found out the cougar was going to be in 4, getting real pumped)
    StarFox (SNES)
Earthbound (SNES, owned this for a year now but hadnt played it since it was released)

    Recent rentals:
    Manhunt (PS2, awsome)
Monster Ranchers 4 (PS2, sat up till 6am last night playing this one, big fan of the series)

    Gamecube: Dragon's Lair 3D

I like it, first of all just because it's Dragon's Lair. I'm not much on the fighting system (regardless of what attacks me, they get the first swing on me), but I like the puzzles. As I've said before, I don't mind figuring out puzzles as long as I know what the puzzle IS! I also like the inclusion of some of the original sound effects and the familiar skull-to-Dirk animation.

I try to stick to 1 game per system. Right now it's:

Dreamcast - Iron Aces - Just got this one and I'm getting used to the controls
    X-Box - Jedi Knight 2 Outcast - Great game
    Playstaion 2 - just FF9. I need another PS2 game
    PC - Diablo 2

PC: bit of Counter-Strike now and then, with the warcraft 3 mod :P

Genesis: Phantasy Star 2. I'm able to go to Dezolis now; but I can't talk to the Dezos. Interestingly, I found a clone lab with a normal human attendant and cloned somebody there...so in theory I can keep playing indefinitely (have people clone there and work from the HP and TP I get back), but it doesn't work that way in practice :P Lots of fun otherwise, and I discovered I like the original overworld music there better than this silly OC Remix (Dezoris Winter by GrayLightning) I've been listening to :)

I did get a copy of Wonder Boy in Monster World for the Genesis that I have yet to power up; that will come this weekend. Also kinda kicked around on Miracle Warriors for the SMS, but I wasn't able to really get into it. I'll need to print up an FAQ for that one.

Awesome! It's really an excellent game. Have you played it with other people yet? I haven't, but the single player mode is great.

Glad you mentioned this! I should've done that! If you have an Atari 8bit (even a 400 will run it), and a set or two of working paddles. . .buy it!

There's a 5200 version on the way as well:

    Currently playing:

NBA Jam (Mega Drive) - man, I still love this game..."FROM DOWNTOWN!!!"

Been on a bit of a rally game fix at the moment:
    World Rally Championship (PS2)
    V-Rally 2: Expert Edition (DC)
    Rally Cross (PSX)

Plus, when I can be bothered dragging out the Mega CD, Silpheed has been getting some play time too. I find this game leaves me awestruck quite often. On the first level when that large ship is destroyed beneath you, and the pieces scatter everywhere...it's just...brilliant.

    Neo Geo Candy Cab..

    Baseball Stars 2...(playing saved series)

I'm so used to playing the game on the Big Red cab, that I'm not used to the smaller joysticks on the Candy Cab yet..
I still need to get my pitching right..

I did get much further in Last Resort playing it in the Candy cab...I don't know why..

I beat Symphony of the Night a few days ago, and I'm playing through the game once more, as Richter. Today I beat the first castle.

I also played some more MGS, even though I've beaten the game 10+ times. It's like watching my favorite movie, where I know all the dialogue and what's going to happen and when, but it still manages to excite me.
In fact, I think I'll go play some of that right now. :P

Are there any user-created servers for it (DC version, I mean)? I'm thinking of getting it, but if I buy a used copy, I won't be able to play online. So I'm wondering if there's any online servers at all.

Mostly playing Burnout 2 and AMF Bowling 2004 on XBox...

For B2...I can't believe how much fun that game is...

For AMF...I can't believe how lazy they were putting it together...
