My biggest purchases:
Around $120 for Gaia Seed for PS. (I've seen them go for $200+ recently)
Around $100 for a sealed Salamander Deluxe Pack + for PS. (Didn't stay sealed for long, though. I love Salamander.)

At first I was thinking it was Panzer Dragoon Saga for a little over $100 (the best value I've ever gotten for my gaming dollar), but then I remembered Steel Battalion for the Xbox-- $180. Played through like three levels and then got tired of setting up the massive controller every time I wanted to play, so I gave up on it. Sold it to a friend for the same price I paid.
Buy ridiculously priced game, play game, sell game for same ridiculous price-- it's the only way to "rent" good games these days.
65$ for Miracle Warriors on SMS
60$ for SFII' on Genesis (and several launch 32x games)
160$ for a KoF 2003 MVS kit
I paid no more or less than $150 for the big one: Radiant Silvergun. I was very lucky to happen upon a copy of RSG on eBay with a Best Offer. I think it was originally $180, but I negotiated it down to $150. I got lucky; I've seen them reach to MUCH higher prices. Still the most I paid for a single title, though. The runner-up is Akumajo Dracula X: Chi no Rondo for $100 exact.

Can't remember the exact price but, it was about 330 shipped for Renny Blaster and Bomberman Special a couple years ago.
Paid $150 for Rakugaki Showtime for the PSX. The game is not worth that kind of money as a game, but as the final piece needed for my Treasure collection at the time... Priceless.
In terms of high dollar games that are worth every penny, I paid $110 for Dracula X PCE & $130 for Radiant Silvergun. They paid themselves off years ago. Thankfully I bought Panzer Dragoon Saga when it was released, but that one is worth it too.
$69 USD for Dodonpachi DOJ new.
I think it was worth it cause I play it alot.
The most I payed for a game is $450 USD for the US version of Samurai Shodown 4 on the Neo Geo AES.
The Best Fighter in HISTORY!!!
Too much money on some items that's for sure. Especially factory sealed NES games. I've never spent over a grand (although close to it) on any one item but have some lined out to buy this summer that is going to cost me a pretty penny!

My Collection - Well, kinda. One of these days I will actually get a pic of the whole collection and post it on there. Until then, I only have a few games in there with some additional collection info stuff.
Well, not being a Neo-Geo or arcade collector, the most I've ever paid for a single game occurred in the 16 bit era. I'm pretty sure that when I bought Street Fighter II Turbo on it's release date, it was $84.95 + tax.
I skipped on Phantasy Star IV when I saw it priced at $130 at launch. I got it a few years later for $25.
$125 or so for Card Fighters 2 import when it was only about 5 weeks old. Sold various games over the years for over $100, but only that once paid over $100 for a game.
I paid 71.99 for Hokuto no ken for jp ps2, which is expensive for a game on release date. But I don't regret it!

Wow, a lot of triple-digit figures in this thread.
My highest was probably $70 each for SNES Final Fantasy III and ChronoTrigger.

This is my first time looking at this thread and I just think it's funny that someone got a NWC gold cart for only $1200 (a 2002 post).
