I payed around 65 USD for a sealed copy of Shenmue II (PAL). I got ripped, but I absolutely LOVE the game!

I paid $96 (Canadian) for Lunar Silver Star Story Complete when it first came out. At the time that would have been about $65 US. I picked it up at a small game shop on my honeymoon. I didn't mind spending the money. It was wedding gift money anyway.
Viewpoint for Neo-Geo. $225 back in 1996. It was considered "rare" back then. Then I saw what they did graphically on PS1 and couldn't believe it!

$49.99 is the most I've ever spent on a single game, thing is I know I've bought more than one. Only one comes to me though, Streets of Rage 3 for the Genesis back in 95.
I paid ~ $130 for KOF 95 for the AES. Then found the link to Neogeo.com and found that it was much cheaper to buy from them than Ebay. Live and learn!!

Paid 170$ for a boxed/complete Texas Chainsaw Massacre for the 2600. I'm willing to spend much more for Halloween boxed should I get the chance.
Paid 180 with shipping for a boxed/complete Texas Chainsaw Massacre for the 2600. Would pay much more for a boxed Halloween.

it is the resident evil 5th anniversary collection, dunno if it is worth it, or what it retailed for new, but it is a nice collection piece.
and i payed $105 shipped for a very good/complete copy of chi no rondo (dracula x) for the pc engine
that was a bit much as well, but i got sick of trying to get it off of yahoo japan
It is pitch black. If you continue you are likely to be eaten by a grue.
$100 CND for a mint copy of Guardian Heroes (Saturn). Next highest priced would have to be when I paid $86.50 CND for Earthworm Jim (SNES) when it was first released.
DAMN! That Resident Evil collection is SWEET! Now all you need is the chainsaw controller!
The most I ever paid for a factory sealed game: ATARI KARTS for the Jaguar: $80.
The most I have ever paid for an opened game: $35 for a near mint copy of GILLIGAN'S ISLAND for the NES (I know it sucks), complete with box, instructions, and all insterts (on Ebay).

$98 on a Saturn beat em up import called CROWS.
I never have paid over 100 bucks for any game, and never will. Crows really taxed me however, but I just barely beat the century mark =D
I payed $80 CANADIAN for Klonoa 2 when it first came out, and I also payed $80 for SOCOM (with headset) when it came out. Actually my parents payed for it at that time since they were both presents.

For me probably something like $49.99, I buy games at full price a lot, I'm not like all you cheap bastards. :P I suppose Pokemon Stadium 2 would also be up there, as it retailed at around $69.99 if I'm not mistaken. Of course I bought it, I love Pokemon too much to not support it.
Mostly just play Nintendo 64. If you've got games PM me! Cart only.
60 bucks for Congo Bongo for Intellivision.
that if you don't count acrades though
next would probably be either a mint boxed copy of Waterworld on the Virtual boy for something like 40 bucks.
$69.99 for NFL QB Club for the N64
OK now that it's safely arrived in the mail today, and I'm actually holding it in my hands, I can finally say it: $300 for a factory sealed Hyper Duel for Saturn!
Now if I could just save up the $500 for a factory sealed Radiant Silvergun...
