Electronic Boutique - Lifetime Warranty

I just dug a case full of old 5 1/4" Apple II diskettes out of my basement. They have Electronic Boutiques name on them and in pretty big lettering say "Lifetime Warranty" on them. I wonder what they would do if I were to bring them into a store and say that they're damaged and that I wanted them replaced. They DID advertise a LIFETIME warranty after all.

These days lifetime means the expected life of the product, a fair average or whatever. Still it would be fun to watch the EB folk scratching their heads at the store for a moment.

Just as with anything you buy today, it will be your burden to proof the product is defective. Good luck doing that..
