I've got an original cuttle cart for sale. PM any offers, best one gets it. If I don't get interest I'll throw her up on ebay around the end of the month.
I only accept postal MO, and ship US only.

So far the highest offer stands at $165. I'm going to hold off until later in the week before I decide to either take it or send her to ebay. PM if interested.
pardon my ignorance, but what is a "cuttle cart"?

It is a device for the Atari 2600, which allows you to load ROMs from an audio interface (either a tape/CD, or computer). It can emulate any type of bankswitching and they are popular with would be game developers who want to test their creations on the actual hardware without going through the effort on burning eproms. It is based on the same interface as the original starpath supercharger. It's a great little toy, only I don't use it enough. I bought it when I had dreams of writing my own game, but since I don't have the time I'm going to let it go.Originally Posted by bobdrywalls

Final shot, before it goes to ebay or I decide to box it up in the attic for the next 10 years.
I've had 4 offers between 150 and 175 although some washed out after I replied to verify intentions and they decided to pursue other deals. Ideally I wanted to hold out for an offer around $200 + s/h. And yes I know the CC2 is coming out at somepoint in the next year, but the question is when. Also in my opinion they are 2 different animals. This works on a 2600 and requires nothing extra out of the box to work, where as the new unit will require media, and external media reader, a 7800 if you don't already have one (I don't nor do I intend to get one), plus the pokey chip.
If you want this and will go over $200 then PM me, otherwise it may see ebay sometime in late January/early February. (If I listed it today, I'd be away shortly after the auction ended, about the time I could expect to receive payment and would need to ship her out.) If I can strike a private deal I'd have this thing shipped before I left without any problems.
