    Default Weekend Finds 1/23-1/25

Good weekend for me! The weather is perfect for thrifting, and much of the places have been inudated with old games so I got some good deals:

    Nintendo:

    1 Deck (w/2 controllers), needs new 72pin connector - $2.50
    Super Mario Bros 2 - $2
Disney Adventures - $2 (second one I've found in 2 weeks)
    Wheel of Fortune - $2
    Super Mario Bros 3 - $2
    Techo Bowl - $1
    Bandai Golf - $1
    Jordan vs Bird - $1
    Rad Racer - $2
    Bible Adventures - $2
    Addams Family - $2

    Genesis:

    Taz - $1
    Golden Axe - $1

The past three weeks, I've gone to every garage sale and thrift store I can find, and I usually turn up a whole lotta nothin. On the rare occassions I come across something, half the time it's some crappy sports game. The flea market I've gone to had a guy selling tons of new games for high prices and little else. Is there nothing to be found in southern California, or am I just looking in the wrong places?

That said, I found a couple things today.

-A rather neat 100-piece Ocarina of Time puzzle, sealed, picturing adult Link with his bow, ready to fire. (would get a picture, but I have no idea where the camera is)

    -Excitebike, loose (NES)

-King's Quest IV, complete (DOS) Had to get this after reading the bragging on the back. Over 3.0 MB of data, the biggest game ever! Over 40 minutes of music! Not sure how to play it, since it's on these big old floppy disk looking things that don't fit in the drive, but it's still cool

And some old George R. R. Martin Wild Card books.

The salvation army "50% off everything" super saterday sale truely kicks ass. I mamaged to grab:
NES Captian comic blue version w/sleeve $1.75
NES Short order & eggsplode $1.75
Sega cd "lethal enforcers" with manual, in a mint "rebel assult" case. I thought i was getting a star wars game, but i didnt even think to look and see that the game and manual was lethal enforcers. still, only $1.75.
Gamecube "star wars: rebel assult II" complete for $3.75. I really was surprised to see that one there.
and I also scored one of these:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...EBWA%3AIT&rd=1
I hope this is worth as much as this auction states it is. I just bought it cuz it said Nintendo on the front. It was only $1.50. Anybody have any more information on this item?
All of these items are up for sale or trade in case anyone wants to PM me if interested. thanks,

I got Zone of the Enders: 2nd Runner for $10.47 and a Winter Jampack 2002 for $0.01 from Circuit City today.

Is Salvation Army open on Sunday? I recently discovered a new one here, but I haven't had time to go. Well, it's supposed to snow tomorrow anyway...
Currently catching up on PSN, WiiWare, Wii U E-Shop and Xbox Live Arcade exclusives I missed.
