Here is a nice Shadowgate Rising article I wrote a few months back. If anyone has anything to add to this, it would be appreciated. Thank you.

I really don't have any new information about the game, but I'd like to say that I'm also a huge Shadowgate fan and I would've loved the opportunity to play Shadowgate Rising. Shadowgate 64 was an excellent game and it deserved a lot more recognition (and sales) than it actually got. One thing that I'd like to add to all of this is that I distinctly remember Nintendo's official website having a lot of background information on Shadowgate 64 and possible sequels. If I remember correctly, I think that there were some profiles about characters that were supposed to be in sequels to the game, but I could very well be mistaken. In any case, I believe that Nintendo's website did have some basic information about possible sequels, but I can't remember if the information pertained to Shadowgate Rising or another proposed sequel. I also remember that one of the developers in an interview said that the team had ideas for a number of sequels, but those ideas obviously never took off. Does anyone remember any of this or has any additional information about possible Shadowgate sequels for the N64?
I remember that Nintendo's official site had a few pieces of concept art for Raven, a ghoul, a castle-ish/mountainish sketch, and a bald-headed dude. I used to have these pictures saved, though not anymore, unfortunately. There was a bit of brief information to go along with the artwork, though nothing too interesting.
The pictures are all now broken when you view the page through archive.org.
I sent an email about a mnonth ago to Dave Marsh, co-creator of Shadowgate for an interview....I never got a reply. I really wanted the chance to donate it it to the Warp Zone, but I guess it wasn't to be.
