I've powered the unit up. A short animation screen appears with Sonic jumping across the screen and a Genesis in the background. Then the logo appears with some sort of humanoid character at the top, the traditional "SEGA" logo in the middle and underneath that the word "Channel". You can change the colors on each of these icons by pressing A,B or C on the cotrol pad. After a few minutes, a message appears stating it is having trouble finding the Sega Network. It resets and goes thru its animation again.
Somebody smarter than me must know of a way to get this thing to network. Maybe even download ROMS ?
Anyhow, it is still available. I've had some interest, but no hard offers yet.
