Default Zelda Collection (Majora's Mask problem)

Has anyone had problems with this game besides me?

When it boots up there is a disclaimer that states
that there are some irregularities with this version that
occur because of the translation from the N64.

I thought this was refering to the glitches in the sound that
    happen about ever 30 seconds

Today I played it. Twice it froze up when i was going from one room
to another. I had to reset it and lost everything I had done since
my last save. They call this a irregularity?

I call it making a game completely unplayable

Has anyone else tried this game?

It didn't happen to me until I went to the woodfall area and then
returned. So if you only played a short while it probably hasn't happened yet.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I've only played the classic edition of Majora's Mask for about 2-3 hours, so, like you said, no freeze. It must feel weird to have your GameCube freeze; mine's only froze twice, both while playing Metroid Prime.

According to the manual, the sound glitches are normal. Probably emulation related problems, and the fact that the amount of RAM on the Gamecube is not quite enough to make it run properly.

Shucks, I thought that this might be better than playing on the original system. :(

Well, thank goodness I've got the real thing on the original system :D

It's really funny having "Legend of Zelda" slow down when there are to many enemies on the screen. I had to look down and make sure I wasn't actually playing my NES!

Well, that only means that the NES emulator that Nintendo made is being accurate. If there was no slowdown, emulation would be improper.

The graphics are a lot better. Thats what sucks.

I plugged in the N64 last night and it just doesn't
    look nearly as good.

I wonder how many people have played this new version.

Could it be that no else has played it enough to cause it to freeze?

Or were these 2 freeze ups unique instances?

Ocarina is better (hi-res). Masks is the same.

It was a free game. Be happy it works at all!

I went all the way through on mine. I had never finished the n64 version so this seemed to be the perfect way.
