Default In Your Opinion, What Is The Scariest Game Character Ever?

I searched and didn't see a topic like this, I seen GAME, but not CHARACTER, so here it is...

What character, in your opinion, is the scariest video game character ever? It doesn't have to be from a survival horror game, hell, Mario may scare the bejeezus out of you for all I know. For any reason also.

But in your opinion, what is the scariest video game character ever?

My vote goes to the zombie babies in the elementary school from the first Silent Hill. Those little things to this day scare the crap outta me, when they start laughing, ugh....truely scary.

When I was little Bowser from SMB scared me, took me years to beat that game. lol.

Do endless pits count as characters? No? Well, too bad: They scare me to this very day. My hands are sweating just thinking about them! Talk about a conditioned response...

My, your avatar is large. Good thing she's gorgeous.

Hey, I didn't mean to criticize. Sorry!

Oh, and the "lickers" from Resident Evil 2 scare the balogne out of a friend of mine. They're pretty scary, I suppose.

You know, you write pretty well for an eleven year-old. You may be the youngest member on board. Anyone remember how old MAS2600 and Sotenga are?

It isn't really a single character from a game, but the Facehuggers from the Aliens vs. Predator PC games are absolutely terrifying!

I hate that clicking noise they make when they shuffle along the ground toward you only to jump up and shriek and latch onto your face. A lot of times they'll kill you before you even realize where they came from.

What were the flesh-eating night dwellers in Zork called? They had a cool name, but I can't remember it at the moment...

Heh, I am famous (infamous?) for my young age on here. Thanks for the acknowledgement.

Anyhoo, when I was a real little guy, both Mabu from Rolling Thunder and Jaquio from Ninja Gaiden gave me the uber-willies. They don't have that effect on me now, but the bejeezus was scared out of me the first time I played Final Fantasy VII... Hojo's experiments in Cloud's flashback. Holy shiat... I forget exactly what they looked like. Every subsequent time I played FFVII, I closed my eyes, so I only saw them once. Yeah, I am SUCH a pansy.

Anyone have a photo of those things? I could go for a good scare right about now. Another creepy thing was Jennifer in Splatterhouse 3... if you didn't work fast enough in Stage 2, you are 'treated' to a horribly distorted photo of Jennifer's face, altered by the boreworm within her. It ain't pretty. I only saw it once. From then on, I had no desire to screw up badly on stage 2 ever again.

I'd have to agree with the demon kids from Silent Hill. Really any grotesque type of thing with a child's voice is pretty creepy.

I have heard of one kid who won't play past the stage where the flood shows up in Halo. Says he's afraid of the little ones cuz they remind him of spiders. I got a good laugh from it.

mine would be the green guys that creep in on you in VENTURE-
those always freaked me out- i hat ewhen enemies come to get you when you spend too long in a maze or level-
that was the first time i had even encountered that- so those are mine.
