    Default Your best eBay brag?

This came in the mail today, and it's in absolutely perfect shape:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=1389638247

I totally didn't expect to find it that cheap. That's probably the best eBay purchase I've made. I also won an auction for a loose Phatasy Star 4 and a couple other loose games that was under $20, and I managed to find Shining Force CD slipped in with some common games for $25. Not bad at all.

Anybody else find any other really good deals?

Hey! That was a good deal! I love "Buy It Now" when the price is good and cheap.

My best deal ever was the Sega Saturn import Wizardry: Llylgamyn Saga. I now this RPG means nothing to nobody (especially since it's in Japanese), but it had a VERY small production run... like 2000 copies. Price? $12 with shipping.

I also got Stellar Assault SS for the Saturn (the little-seen sequel to Shadow Squadron on the 32x) for $100. Sounds a bit pricey, but it was actually a very good (but not Stellar) deal.

My best eBay deal was as a SELLER.

I once sold a set of 45 ADAM cassettes, most of which were public domain/homebrew programs and NONE of which were tested (as stated), for $240. I remember this vividly. I was standing there with a trashbag contemplating if I should just throw the cassettes away (I really don't know anyone who collects them) or put them on eBay. Decided to just lay them all out on the floor, take a good snapshot of them, and see what happens. The auction started at 0.01, and I would have been happy with a few bucks.

To my surprise, there were 3 or 4 hardcore ADAM guys going at it, inflating this bag of trash well beyond its worth.

I don't have time to hover over ebay looking for deals.. just not something i'm interested in doing.

Here is an auction I won on Yahoo a while back for a 31 in 1 Famicom game with a fami to nes converter for 16 bucks..

5 loose SNES RPGs for $11 ($7.50 + $3.50 for shipping), including Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, Breath of Fire, Illusion of Gaia, and Secret of Evermore. The seller indicated that it was carts only, but when I got the package it had almost all of the instructions and maps as well!

I have a lot of free time at work so I've stumbled across a few awesome deals on eBay, but none even close to that one. 8)

Not sure what the actual estimated value is on this one, but I was pretty happy with it and what I paid!

That's a very good price for a boxed Jag Mutant Penguins. I thought I got a steal getting the cart and manual for $11 a few months ago. The retailers at AtariAge usually try to sell it for $30+.

I once sold the Chrono Trigger maps, with no pic, for $40. Just the maps. Nothing else. I thought I was going to get screwed over but nope, the money order came a few days later.

I won this 'jewels of the crown' auction:
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tem=1386484168

Of course I knew there is no jewels of the crown for the saturn, so I assumed it was jewels of the oracle. Which is really rare and sells for a small fortune:
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tem=1384247788

    And it was!

Once I got a working 7800 with 60 games one of them being Springer for $60.00

Also a ColecoVision with the steering wheel, atari adapter, super controllers, and about 10 CV games and about 20 Atari games (one of them QBert Qubes for like $40.00

And this lot just came in last week for $100 and that included delivery.
The Atari boxes are a tad rough but the 20th Century boxes look brand new.

I've gotten 2 Glib's for around $25-$30 each, and a swordquest waterworld in a lot of games for roughly $5.

Also found Gremlins and Berenstein bears in a lot of games that weren't listed, for about $1 each.

    Default good deals

    Best buys:

I got 10 Japanese Megadrive games for $160 (incl. shipping) which included Bare Knuckle 3 and Yu Yu Hakushu. I sold about half the games (including BK3, as I already had it) for about $160 . . . . so I effectively got Yu Yu Hakushu, Virtua Racing, SFII and Super SF2 for free (all mint!)

I was also pretty pleased at getting Mega Man: The Wily Wars (PAL) for $30 (boxed, no instructions).

    My best sells have been:

    Landstalker for about $60 :-)
Bomberman for the PS1 for about $25, despite being a TERRIBLE game!
Laputa: Castle in the Sky / Porco Rosso DVD for £35 ($50) (I then used the money to buy the entire Studio Ghibli 6 DVD box set . . including Laputa and Porco Rosso!)
    A loose Genesis console for £25 ($35)

    Vroomfunkel
