    Default Playstation Question

    I was wondering how i'd go about to opening a ps1, I recently bought my friends modded ps1 to play imports and I can hear loose screws on the inside, i'd like to tighten them but am afriad to use a metallic screw driver, before I get confirmation that it will not fry my brains any help is appreicated

    Opening a PSX will not fry your brains. I've opened many of them.

    Flip that baby over and remove the screws. Then flip it back over right-side-up and lift the top off. That's it! You'll want to be careful though, if the mod chip wasn't secured in there it might just be supported by the wires themselves, and if one of them comes off your mod chip might quit working. The PSX will most likely still function, but it'll quit playing imports and copies if it comes loose.
