That would be an amazing prize to win. Even though, I won't even try because I am not about to attempt to translate Japanese and I really don't have the dedication to do more than type in my name and e-mail address to try and win something.

This reminds me of what I read on GameScience a couple of days ago..

"Bandai announced yesterday that total sales for games in the Gundam series have now exceeded 20 million. From the first Gundam game "Mobile Suit Z Gundam Hot Scramble" on the Famicom (19 February 1986) to the latest game "SD Gundam G Generation Seed" on the PS2 (19 February 2004), there have been 117 titles in the series.

This month sees the first Gamecube outing for Gundam, with the release of "Gundam: Senshitachi no kiseki" on the 18th. To mark the release, Bandai are offering a Famicom Mini (GBA) version of the very first Gundam game, to selected participants in a prize draw. There are no plans to release the Famicom Mini version to the general public, so this prize is sure to be a highly sought after collector's item."

If they don't release that game, it will be a very nice item, especially in Gundam-crazed Japan.

    Did someone say "Miyamoto's signature"?

Yes, that's my copy of the Japanese OoT bonus disc personally signed by the man himself...

    nice!

Personally I'd just like to have a Famicom GB SP. Sig or not, I'd be happy with just the system. The packaging is SOOOOO COOL!!!! If they released an NES style one over here you can bet it wouldnt have nearly as cool of a box. It'd probably just be the system on from and the words "retro edition" or something stupid like that.

    Nintendo Of America sucks.

Cool OOT disc... wonder why the sigs look so different though?

Considering there's only 10 of them, I'm sure they'll be quite a hot item, although signed stuff is only valuable to those that will pay for it. In the case of Nintendo, that could mean a lot.

I made another post abou that Gundam Famicom Minigame coming out, but seems like every other gameshop in the hosue beat me to it. Surprised nobody reported the signed Famicom ones though. (fingers crossed)

Sadly, I gave up going after the Famicom and just got a Flame SP for $80.

But I did order SMB from Lik-Sang.

I'd love anything signed by Miyamoto. But of course, it'll never be in my posession. Unless I fly over to Japan and force him to sign my Flame SP.

The signature on my OoT disc is his "standard" way of signing things. Perhaps he is mixing it up with some "unique" tags for the SPs?

Best sight I've had? Taking a picture of him signing someone's Donkey Kong marquee. I don't think he expected to see that!

Imagine if he turned up at Classic Gaming Expo this year and you could get anything you wanted signed by him. Wouldn't THAT be cool!

That would be the day I didn't bring anything worth signing.

I'm still kicking myself for not having getting Steve Jobs, who was standing 10 feet away, sign my PowerBook Duo 2300c. I had it in my backpack at the MacWorld NY 2001 expo. (Two months before 9/11) I watched person after person walk up to him and shake his hand. Didn't see anyone get anything signed, and I didn't have a marker, but would have loved to shake his hand.. But I froze and stood there casually not trying to make eye contact (And failing) and the one second I turned away, he disappeared. Him and the two women he was with. And one was wearing bright pink.. how could I not find that in a crowd??

    [Kicks self harder]

Steve Jobs and Shigeru Miyamoto.. two people I'd love to have sign my stuff.
