    Default Hundred Swords DC

This game seems to go pretty unnoticed. Unlike other DC imports I haven't really seen much in the way of praise or even reviews (positive OR negative). Has anyone played it? If you have, what did you think of it? I'm really curious, thinking of picking it up myself to tell the truth, but if the money would better spent elsewhere - I would like to know.

I only played the US PC version, which sucked horribly due to awful controls. DC one is supposed to be quite good tho.

At the time, it wasn't a bad game.. there are some control issues, and it runs a little slow compared to some RTS games, but I like it. Of course, I haven't played it in over a year.

I wouldn't rush out and get it, but if you come across it for cheap, definitely give it a try. Surprisingly enough, this game made it to the states, in PC form. Too bad that they took out the dialogue portion of the game when it came over here, and made little improvements. As always, things they think the American audience doesn't want.

They didn't take the dialogue out of the US one. It's there. But the interface is significantly worsened, making it virtually unplayable.

    Sorry Maxlords,

I wasn't very clear.. my brain was fried last night, and probably still is. I meant that they took out the dialogue "choices" portion of the game. In the DC one, you had to make decisions on what you were going to say to people, your friends and your enemies, and it affected your character in the long-run (sort of like Sakura Taisen, etc). I was under the impression that it wasn't in the PC version.

Thanks for the replies, I think I'll check it out on PC and see if its worth the import.

I actually ran into the English (England-english) PC CD-ROM version of the game at a convenience store during my trip over there, I believe it was 10 pounds. Would've bought it 'cuz it was pretty much the only game related item I saw on that trip AND it was the first time I saw it at all. Sadly, my copy sits many thousands of miles away, waiting (presumably) for a loving owner to go buy it. I'll have to see about buying a copy online.
