A friend of mine has a PowerJoy, and is looking for a converter to play NES games on it. Does anyone have one for sale? PM me or email me at axelay@ureach.com

Hey Dire, just wanted to tell you that certain Gyromite carts have this adaptor already installed in them: http://www.terramalus.com/gyro/
If you have a Gyro cart, and it is heavier then other NES carts, open it up and it may have it.
Ya, I've used a Gyromite one before I believe, buy a spare cart at a pawnshop, or on ebay for around 5-6 bucks and your set.

Curren Totals:
Games: 327
Systems: 12
As I've replied to in another thread it's really not that easy.
I've look at over a 100 Gyromite carts that qualify and I've found 1.
So you probably won't have much luck finding one.
Here's what to look for to increase your chances.
1. weighs about twice what a normal Nes cart weighs
2. Cart will have a smooth top without the tabs. (some Gyromite carts do have the tabs)
3. If it says "revision A " on the back label it won't have an adapter
4. It will have 5 normal flathead screws and not the 3 security screws.
That said you still probably will never find one. They're pretty rare.
I've been told that any old game can have an adaptor, not just Gyromite. For example, Excitebike, Hogan's Alley, or Stack Um may have what you're looking for.
And, jonjandran: Maybe you haven't had much luck because someone else snatched the adaptors first! j/k
Oh yea any game that meets the above criteria could have an adapter.

I'm thinking Dire51 is talking about something that will allow NES games to be played on a famicom?
Are you looking for this?

If you want to play NES games on a Famicom, I'd suggest going to www.lik-sang.com and searching "Famicom"--I bought one of the same convertor you're talking about, $9.90 plus $5 shipping. Nobody on the board has one FS/T, I already asked.
Egbert, I miss you...
The famed Gyromite adapter does the opposite of what Dire needs (plays famicom games on an NES).
Lik-sang is your best bet.
Bratwurst is right, that's what I'm looking for. Think I'll go check Lik-Sang... thanks for the tip, Querjek.Originally Posted by Bratwurst
