Very Nice!! I agree, the CV has faults, but it's a rock solid system. I just successfully replaced a stock internal CV pwer switch with a new Ratshack replacement part. They all eventually seem to fail (power switch), and the fix made for a nice clear sharp pic.

ColecoVision has killer graphics for a pre-crash system.

When you get the chance, post (or private message) the Ratshack part number for that switch. I'm just about due to perform a Colecoectomy.

It's VERY close to the original. It was a neat trick getting it to play nice with the original external slider toggle though. It's "stiffer" than before, but wow, what a clean humless picture!

I'm auctioning off the first try here. http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...391266920&rd=1 If you read the tech details at the bottom of the auction, there is some detail there about how I did it. I'm no expert, but I am getting better at this repair stuff. If I don't learn to fix 'em, where will these consoles be in 10 years?

Raedon got some awesome games in that deal. Whoah.

I'm doing my personal unit next. IME, most broken ColecoVisions, likely have a buggered switch.
