    Default Your Greatest Gaming VICTORY

    Tell me about it.

You know... it was the moment when you realized that you couldn't be beaten at a particular game, the time when you defeated the toughest boss, the combination that finally got you past that impossible puzzle. Share that moment when instead of hurling your controller at the floor you raised it to the sky and pumped your fists in victory!

    Ah, the drama. Share.

After playing Bust A Move 2 for hours upon end, my eyes start to go blurry and I seem to go in a trance, without barely looking, making the correct colored balls come into contact. Any foe that appears before a Bust A Move game that I am currently playing gets slaughtered.

Oh, and this goes for Puzzle De Pon too.

The first time I beat Street Fighter II on one quarter..

I remember it was after midnight but before 2am on a Saturday at a Super 1 24hr food mart. I had been playing the game for over 4 hours that night and perfecting my Blanka game.. It took me two weeks of playing and around $10.00 in quarters to finish with one quarter. Well worth it, no one could beat me when I played Blanka..

When I first went to college, I didn't take any game systems. I figured my emulators (including my PSX emulator....I didn't think I'd have room for a TV) would be plenty to tide me over. As it turned out, one of my room mates happened to be a Super Smash Brothers fanatic. He swore NO ONE could beat him when he played Link. What he didn't know is that I had had a boring summer, and my best friend and I had literally played several hours of SSB every night of the summer, and had perfected our games. When I first got back to college with my N64, he tried to beat me for two solid hours without ever landing one hit. No kidding. I felt like God. Since then I have been completely undefeated at that game. However, once I got a GCN and SSBM came out, my SSB skills waned, and, although I am quite good at SSBM, it's not the art form SSB was.

More recently? I just beat my first 8 foot song in DDR a couple of days ago. Let me tell you, that was a high like none before it. Trust me.

Beating Metroid was fantastic. I have beaten many games since but nothing has come close to feeling the same.

After 1 ½ years or so of no playtime whatsoever, I got my 2nd SNES and Super Punch-Out. Right out of the gate I went 16-0 through the whole game. I am the Super Punch-Out MASTA!

I was also exceedingly joyful when I beat Event #51 in Super Smash Bros. Melee, beat every last puzzle in Mario's Picross (except for the EVIL Time Attack Mode ones) and when I got the programmer's ending in Chrono Trigger.

    Default Kid Icarus

It's definitely the day I beat Kid Icarus. It was the first game I beat besides Pitfall II for VCS and C64.

My sisters didn't believe me when I went upstairs screaming that I beat Medusa, till I showed them.

    Yep, good day.

Well, I was the first kid in town to defea the evil Borf when Space Ace finally made it to our town. (It was one of those "crowd around the game as I played" moments. Too cool.)

Recently, I broke the Twin Galaxies World Record for Atari 2600 "Halloween." The old record was 75,000 points or so. I got 207,900 points. Michael Myers ate it...and he ate it HARD!

This may be obscure or eccentric, but I was really stoked when I beat the NES shooter by FCI called Zanac. I recently played it again on an emulator, and apparently I've lost my touch. It's either a really hard game or it was because I don't have a turbo button.

I also have fond memories of the first time beating Mike Tyson's Punch-Out, Golgo 13, and Rygar.

Ninja gaiden 3 was one of those impossible games.
I think if you made it past the 3rd level you were good.
For some reason that game had a bit of insane AI.
Part 1 was hard when you got near the end after you beat bloody malth and you would have to work your way to the top of the tower to get to Jaquio if you died it was back to the start for you.
Thank god Jaquio was quite easy to beat with the Jump and Slash.
Was it just me or was part 2 really easy to beat. I Can literally beat that game with one life.

    Thanks

My VICTORY was beating the damn good Battletoads before any mag pro player.

When the game ending appeared in the mags I had the pics already in my album.

First time beating Street Fighter 2 without losing any round using just my left hand was joyfull too, but don't even come close...

Finishing Ninja Gaiden 3 is like strolling to the park... the real dificult is in the original one.

When I got my Game Genie.

Actually, back in the day I used to be called the Video Game Daredevil. I used to jump over Thwomps without twitching.

Though, back then I couldn't beat anything without the GG.
