The girl's video sucked. Practicing swordplay that is such a damn lie. All she was doing was spinning around in her backyard. I voted for you db.

Agian, HUGE THANKS You guys and girls rule.

I totally agree on the editing of my tape, except we had one small snag.

    No time.

I rarely visit Sony's web-site, and it was a chance fluke when I stumbled on to it looking for a SLUS number, and saw the contest...2 days before the deadline. By the time I was able to get to my mom's to snag the Mini-VHS, get back home, set up everything, get my camera girl over, figure out how to get the damn Mini-VHS to properly transfer to the normal VHS, we had just enough time to do 2 takes for the full deal, and mail it out about a half hour before the post office closed the day of the deadline. I mailed it out priority with delivery confirmation just to make sure it got there.

The 'biggest' snag was the final shot of the PSX games. My original set-up (seen here http://www.game-rave.com/images/googy.jpg) was too wide/tall for the camera lens, due to the small space with which we had to work. We had to disnmantle most of both top halves and squeeze them in as best we could.

The video also turned out darker on Sony's web-site then the actual VHS looked, but ah well.

I just checked back to watch the other contestants and some of them were pretty lame. I wonder how bad the rest of the entries could have been to have the sick day tape chosen
Between you and me...after the dog and socom one....I think we were the only 6 entries

Fighting the good fight against the hang over....
    Thanks again!

Well, if you had iMovie, you could have fixed that video up real nice in 5 minutes. Of course, to have iMovie, you need... you know.

    Is he still winning?

I think that the fact you DID see it, and worked so hard to set stuff up, is worthwhile enough. Even if others had worked as hard (physically!) on their video, I don't think I could imagine somebody who deserved to become a finalist more.

i voted for you. says you have 45% and ps ownage has 33%. that picture you posted is MUCH more impressive looking than the end of the video IMO.

how is anyone voting for ps2 ownage anyways...that video was worse than the little girls (my eyes are still burning). it is almost as funny as that fat star wars kid video.

Vote in for DB with the condition that if I am ever in the Chcago area I can swing by and play some games on that new plasma screen TV.

Current tally was you at 36% next closest was 21%. Me thinks you are on the road to victory. As long as the DP board has your back, you can't lose!!
