    Default MM game

Vaguely. It was an EA game, I believe (or maybe Epyx?). I found "Crush, Crumble, and Chomp" to be more memorable. But to be fair CC+C came a few years earlier.

CCC was by Epyx and the precursor to their pseudo sequel Movie Monster some 3 years later. MM was fairly decent, pity there wasn't a proper 2 player mode though.

I used to love Movie Monster... I played as the big robot all the time. When it comes to classic monster games though, Mail-Order Monsters has it beat.

I had all three of them. Actually, it's kind of funny ... my parents used to own a software store, and my dad had a shrink wrap machine at his regular job, so we would often open new games, "test them out" (aka copy them) and then he would rewrap them. Naughty, I know. We used the copies to run as demos on our demo systems. Anyway, Mail Order Monsters was one of those games I got copy of through this method.

I recently got King of the Monsters (MVS), it's also similar to those games in spirit.

Yeah, I remember it quite well. Used to have a lot of fun with this one, but I always thought it odd that Godzilla was brown.

My favorite monster is JASON HALL, KING OF TEH MONSTARS!!!1
You are startled by a grim snarl. Before you, you see 1 Red dragon. Will your stalwart band choose to (F)ight or (R)un?
