N64 question

Since I never got an expansion pak back in the day, i was wondering if i could leave it in there while i played games that didn't need the expansion pak??? I'm planning to getting one, since i recently bought a DK64 and forgot i needed an expansion pak with it since i never had a chance to play it back when it came out...so would i need to remove it and put the jumper pak back in the 64 to play a game w/out the expansion pak???

You can leave your expansion pak in all the time. The games that use it will find it, the others won't care.
