Quick question: I noticed that the A/V cable supplied with the 32X is a mono cable (one video and one sound plug), I have another cable thats exactly the same except its a stereo cable (two sound plugs). Can I just use the stereo cable with the 32X or is it only capable of producing mono sound for some reason? If so, why did Sega supply a mono cable?

Sega probably supplied the mono cables because it's probably about $1-$1.50 less to make than the stereo cable and back then not everyone with AV capable TV or VCR had stereo input.

Plus Sega could milk you for another $20 to get stereo cable :P It should work but I'll have to find that damn 32X manual that I misplaced (along with rare gems like mint Chrono Trigger manual and near mint Swordquest comic book #3)
