    Default Does Anyone do Atari 2600 AV Mods? Stereo or mono!!!!

    Does anyone on here know how to do the atari 2600 AV modifications?
    I recently started atari collecting, and the RF output has every problem that made me hate RF in the first place; unreliable picture that sometimes contains "Snow" or diagonal lines running through the screen...Poor audio....I HATE IT!!!
    However i'm none too handy with a soldering iron...
    Does anyone around these parts do AV mods? how much would you ask to modify an atari? and do you require a 4 or 6 switch? Right now i have a 4 switch, this weekend i am getting a six switch.....

    Sorry that i'm jumping in here, but i'm looking for the same thing. But I was thinking about getting a 7800 so I could play more games on it

    Is it easy for someone to mod a 7800 as well?
