    Default Room of doom update.

Just thought I'd let you know that I posted some more recent pics of my gameroom at:

    http://onlinerock.com/musicians/meta...omofdoom.shtml

I'm debating doing some serious organising, so it might be tidier soon!

(and then I've got to tackle gameroom 2, my "storage" area which currently houses My Amiga and PC games as well as loads of duplicate hardware and Videogame magazines.)

Is that what the UK versions of PSX games look like? I thought they were just Long Box games at first, but now I see they are just thicker.

Nice collection. I also have that same Capcom SNES controller. But the colors are different of course. It is my FAVORITE controller ever for a classic system.

When you think about how much each of those games must've cost and start doing the math, that's one impressive room. I especially like all the POP stuff on the walls -- really makes it unique and shows that you are a true collector and not just a gamer. Congrats, the pictures look great!

It's a 3DO fighting controller from Capcom. I've got the same one and the SFC fighting controller as well. I LOVE those controllers!!!

Oh, and metal_head... I'll let you sleep with Jasoco's mom if I can have that Bullet Bill.

I've got the SNES version though. It's really coolness. I got it from my uncle for Christmas. It was the best present I got from them ever. Ergonomic and comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was the L and R placement for Star Fox. But that was no biggie. Especially since it's a FIGHTING controller after all. (But I don't fight. So it works fine for what I do use it for.)

Your controller says Super Nintnedo? That I don't have. Mine says Super Famicom and something like "Capcom Pad Soldier". And I know what you mean about the L and R placement for, like, any other game. Dosen't really work that well.

No, it doesn't say Super Nintendo OR Famicom on mine. But it does say "Capcom Pad Soldier". The packaging though DID say for the Super NES. But there is no mention of it on the controller itself.

Weird. I never knew that there was a US version of that controller. Mine is dark grey with light grey around the D-pad and says "Capcom Pad Soldier", and says "Super Famicom" below the buttons. I was thinking about getting another one of those for my SNES, so I'm going to see if I can track down one like yours. Very cool!

    Only 1 bullet Bill guys...sorry!

I agree its a bit messy, but possibly not quite as messy as it looks....the pics with the Capcom 3do controller and loose Snes carts are pictures of an open drawer....likewise the stack of stuff behind the Colecovision is in a cupboard and the door is normally shut.

I may well tidy it up one day, but there is always the problem of how to fit more stuff in than can be comfortably acheived...If I shelve the room from top to bottom (assuming I can find somewhere to keep the stuff in the meantime) It's inevitable than I'm gonna run out of room again and things will just be piled willy nilly!

If you think this ones messy, you should see my other room used for the overflow!
