    I sometimes do this. I think the high bidder tried to outbid the other guy by the smallest amount possible. Every time he placed a bid he was overbidded so he kept trying the next smallest amount possible.

    That makes a lot of sense. But it's futile to do this, it's not like he's actually going to win it for 10.50! This game is pretty hard to come by.

    I sometimes do that, not to outbid the person but to see what their highest bid is. Like if they bid a weird amount like 10.74 and I bid 10.50 instead of the auction jumping to 11.00 even it'll stay at 10.74 and unless the bid numbers go up again I'll know he hasn't uped his bid.


    And sometimes I'm just that bored.
