The Arcade History Database has some nice stuff on Williams' games, and on all arcade games in general.

Remember, Williams was also the #1 pinball company along with all the cool video games they were making at the time.

    Check this out at gamearchive.com:

    http://www.gamearchive.com/Pinball/M...rers/Williams/

A lot of the links don't work in the page, but it does give you a good list of pinball games they made when they did Defender, Robotron, Joust, etc.

Jot down the names of the pinball machines, then go to the Internet Pinball Database and look up the games. Most of every Williams pinball is covered with a fine-tooth comb, pics and all!

I hope this helps! Black Knight, Firepower, and Alien Poker are my favorite pins from Williams.

Well, one thing I know off the top of my mind is that the company now known as Midway is actually Williams (ie. Williams was the one who swallowed in Bally/Midway, not the other way around). I dunno why they opted for the name Midway rather than keep the name Williams, perhaps because of name recognition.

BTW, don't rely too much on Midway's website for info, as it reeks of revisionist history (the site doesn't divide the former Bally/Midway, Williams Electronics and Atari Games, thus giving the impression that it's been one big company all this time).
