If you've got the space, or just a really kick-ass game room, those are awesome. My favorite used game store in town has one of those and a matching Sonic figure as well.

And just in case you weren't sure, the auction mentions that this item is "not sold in stores." Well, damn...

Man, Mario's only four feet tall in real life? He must have had a vitamin deficency as a child or something.

I live on the other side of the country as this guy and shipping is still only about 55 bucks. If I wasn't positive the price was going to shoot up in the last 2 1/2 minutes, I'd seriously consider throwing my hat into the ring.

I want this with every fiber of my being. However if I bought this, my wife would remove every fiber of my being.

Shipping alone is $54 bucks! Otherwise I would consider going for it. Ehh, maybe if it stays cheap enough.
Somebody make me a "CGE 2k7 Attendee banner" so I don't have to use this lame text

That could be Mario before he uses a mushroom.

A local Software Etc. store still has one of these on display.

    Default Smash Mario

I currently work at CompUSA and right before I started working there they had one of those in the games isle. When it was decided to be time to take it off the sales store the warehouse crew took it in the back room and took a ball bat to the back of his head. They were made out of a ceramic material, which shattered all over the warehouse. To this day there are still Mario fragments littering the corners of the warehouse.
Condoleezza Rice is nice, but I prefer A Roni!

What the hell did poor Mario do to deserve that?

Please don't hate me, I said that the people who worked at the store right before I started destroyed it. If I was there I would have called "dibbs" and taken it back to my house.

Oh, I don't doubt for a second that anyone on this forum would have saved poor Mario from being crushed to pieces. It's the jerks in your stockroom I'm concerned about. I mean, itsa Mario!
