Default Anybody know where I can get a cheap PC Engine -> TG 16 C

Anyone know where I can get a decent convertor for the PC Engine? From what I've seen its cheaper to just buy a PC Engine than get a converter. Thanks.

The cheapest ones go for 50-60 dollars, but they are not completely compaitble or are buggy or you have to fiddle with them to get them to work and get lined up right. The most highly regarded one is the Kisado adapter, and they go for $85-$105, but you pay for quality...most say it works flawlessly every time. They pop up on ebay every now and then.

What I would get, if I had the cash, is the PC Engine/TG-16 Flash card. It just came out not to long ago. Supposedly it works on either a PC Engine or a TG-16. You can load the PC Engine roms on it that you want to play and play it on your TG-16.

    I think it's about $100.00

But in the long run it may actually be worth it. I'm not adverse to "buying" games rather than "stealing" the roms, but when it comes to PC Engine Hu cards, things can get rather expensive. Hell, it's pretty damn expensive to get alot of the better TG-16 Hu Cards.

I have a nice little decent collection of TG-16 Hu cards, but after playing Magic Engine on the PC, I almost decided to get rid of my physical Turbo and all my games and accessories. It seemed like it was more trouble than it was worth.

But then I discovered the beauty of playing TG-16 and PC Engine games in RGB!

Now, there is now way that I would ever get rid of my physical Turbo and go to the emulators. RGB is the way to go, Baby! The Turbo in RGB is fantastic. So much color just bursting off the screen. So much fine detail.

For me, when it comes to systems that output RGB, I don't think I can ever get rid of them entirely and switch to emulation, but systems that don't output RGB (Like the NES), I probably can get rid of, and just play the emulators of them on my PC and XBOX.
