Default Nintendo World Championship 1990, work?

I have made a, um, "backup" of my NWC1990 cart =P, and can anyone get theres working on an emu? I can get it to loadup to the first screen, then it does nothing after that, I have tried it with several emu's. Thanks

It's possible that it's looking for some piece of hardware in the cart itself. Either that, or it could be using a mapper that the emu's don't recognize ...

Try an older version of FCEUltra. I ran into this problem myself as I'm finishing out the NES screenshot gallery, as it's hard to get screenshots of a game that will not go past the title screen. It won't run on the latest versions of FCE, but I remember playing it before on several older versions.

Are you sure your rom dump is good?

I remember seeing a rom of this cart online and I don't remember having any problems with it. But then again, I also don't remember even testing the rom, so maybe it didn't work for me at all! Ahhh...now I gotta go check...

However, I could never figure out how one could adjust any dip switches on the cart in an emu...maybe that has to be emulated? I dunno...
