One of the local amusement parks (Canobie Lake) had one of those things when I was a kid. It cost a buck fiddy to play, and the characters had the response times of a sixteen wheeler, but good god did that game look cool when you were playing it. They also had a similar one where you were a time traveller or something. It looked better, but it was more a Dragon's Lair type "push the button now or die" thing.
