Default Video Game Digital Cataloging Software!

Hi guys, im new to the forum, but old to the scene
i was just wondering what software you use to keep track of your collections... I was considering using Microsoft Access or Excel to database them, but was wondering if there are any better alternatives...
im hoping to sort them into Generes like "Console" "Region" "Rarity" & "Company"
if anyone has any ideas how i should do this they will be greatly appreciated
Thanx for your time reading this!
    Adam

ps. i searched one of my Nes games "super Adventure Quests" in the rarity list and it came up with Adventure quests (by camerica) and thats the USA version of Codemasters (UK), but it was listed in Rumour Mill.... it cant be a rumour if i have it :P or was it only released in the Uk?

    Hi Adam!

For your first question, i use EGM (Electronic Game Manager). The software is discontinued but he can do anything i want (plus the data are store in a
Access file so you can really do anything with it).

For the second question, i already owned "Super Adventure Quest" in the past. I got it from Europe (the game is in a weird black casing). The same game was released here has Quattro Adventure. In short, the same game with different name.
Oh eBay! you are such a pain, I am addicted to you like crack cocaine. You offer things I cannot find in stores,You are the pimp, and we are all your whores.

Guzzlefish (www.guzzlefish.com) allows you to track video games in addition to DVDs and CDs, but the info about the games is limited.
