    Default mpls event

I think Mpls needs its own show.. If I were still living in MN I would have allready organized something there. If anyone ever wants to try and get something together (as long as its not another hotel swap meet), be sure to let me know, I'd love to get involved. Eh, what the hell, I'd have someone come and represent even if it were on a smaller scale.

I suppose there aren't too many MN collectors around here... I have a few friends who are into it.

I'll be in town tomorrow. I'm driving from Oklahoma. I fly out Saturday morning. I'm staying at the Raddisson next to the Mall of America so if anybody wants to get together for some gaming, gimme a call at:
*phone number removed by me...I'm flying back to OK in a few hours.

Some of my school friends still live up there. Basically doing the same stuff we did back then still (except the alcohol component is now legal ) I tried to turn a few of them on to the DP boards but, I guess they forgot to check it out or something. Shame really. One of them had a really nice US/JPN Saturn collection that I was very envious of that I'm sure has only gotten better over the years. I kinda would like to see what old-home is like these days. Then again, maybe not.

Sorry to go a bit OT but, does anyone know if Raven Games store is still operating? Last I knew they moved to Stillwater. Used to go there quite a bit before eBay prevailed and the price boom that followed at many brick and mortar stores. If they are still open I sugest you take a look. We bought (sans spinecard) Radiant Silvergun ($45) and Soukyugurentai ($35) and a CIB Turbo Express ($80) from them back then. Mind you this was more than 10 years ago so drop those expectations a bit before you go OK. It's better to be pleasantly surprised than disappointed.
