    Default Welp...

To tell you the truth, I just downloaded the binary and am in the middle of Clrmame'ing my sets. I had 129 missing and am now down to 39 missing. Still need to get the Cruisin sets however. I'll let yah know, although I'd imagine they run like a dog (at least on my P3 1gz)

For those new to MAME would you mind explaining "clrmame'ing?"

CLRMAME is a software tool that checks, fixes (and optionally discards) bad ROMs, splits or merges clones, and generally keeps everything in order.

    Thank you kind sirs!

Definitely sounds like something I need to do. Trying to do that on your own is a major pain...

They're like slide shows on my 1.2Ghz PIII. Pretty slide shows, but not playable.

I started playing the games, there are just a few standouts, mostly junk. I'll provide a quick report of what's worth checking out here very soon.

One interesting note: "Kid no Hore Hore Daisakusen" is almost the same game as "Cratermaze" on the Turbografx-16! I had no idea the game was also in the arcade. Not sure which one came first, but then again I haven't started any real checking - just now finished finding all of the parts to the 0.62 set.
