Default PS2 Guncon games and a Guncon 1?

I got a copy of "Dino Stalker" from Circuit City as it was $4.99, but then I realized something: I only have a Guncon 1. I haven't opened it yet and I won't if it only works with a Guncon 2. Does anybody know?

How about using Guncon 1 games with a Guncon 2? I just got a boxed Ninja Assault Guncon 2 package today and was wondering if the GC2 will work with my old Guncon games like Time Crisis and Point Blank 2 when played on the PS2.

    Negative.

Itried using a Guncon 2 with Elemental Gearbolt, and it did not work. I'm not sure if the game is just special that way though. Its the only PSX gun game I have.

Some Guncom 2 games are compatible with the Guncom 1. I think Vampire Night is but Ninja Assault is not. No Guncom 1 games are compatible with the Guncom 2.

Second that on Vampire Night. Also Time Crisis 3 works with a Guncon 1.
