    Default Transparent Modern Consoles?

Are any of the current, modern consoles available in transparent plastic?

Xbox has a transparent shell in some country, but I forget which one.

I think it was released in Europe. You can buy some shell replacements for the Ps2 at some modchip stores.

I think the Xbox is the only one. The PS2 has a lot of different colors but I don't think any of them are transparent and same goes for the cube.

Taiwan has a clear transparent Xbox somebody posted an article about it recently on these boards.

Here in the UK there have been 2 transparent X-Box releases. The first was some time ago, and was mid-green in colour. The more recent one is called "crystal" and is ice-white. Both can be seen on Amazon UK - one muppet is selling a clear green unit second hand for £2,500! There isn't a lot to actually see through to though - the whole thing seems covered in metal shield plates.

Just wonderin'. I have a transparent N64 (charcoal) and I think it's cool to see the insides of the console. I'm an electronics buff.
