    Default Wanted: Obscure Gaming Quotes!

I'm helping a friend with a website that he's doing for a college class. To help to bring in people from his college to vist the site, he wants to do a contest, and he decided to do one about gaming.

I said I'd help, because this seems to be the PERFECT place on the ask.

We're looking for OBSCURE game quotes. Not the ones that anyone could reconize if they played the game or even saw pictures, but the REALLY nitpicky lines, the ones you'd have to play through several times to remember or have memorized.

It can be several lines in length. We're going to leave this contest to console games only (and handhelds are allowed also) but if you have good computer ones, I'll gladly take them for later.

Please post who said the line(s), the game and system it's on, and a little about where in the game it's said or what's going on.

Here's some examples, ones I've allready suggested to my friend:

"This battle will make your blood boil! Good luck!" -- Jackal for the NES, from the starting game screen.

"Look into my eyes -- your're going to like me, you're going to like me!"
    (pause of several seconds)
    "Did it work?"
Riona to Squall, Final Fantasy VIII, at the start of the dance scene.

"I wonder how many players will see this message?"
One guy talking to another, Metroid Fusion for GBA, if Samus manages to get through a area without a special item.

    Thanks in advance, guys!
"Four o'clock and all is well.....wish I was in bed, Sir."
-- Guard in the Imperial City, Oblivion

I thought this was rather humorous.
(I hope this quote is correct)
"What are we going to do with no weapons?!"

Said by one of the main characters
    Gunstar Heroes - Genesis

I dont remember everything, but this happens at the end of the launch base area I think. The bad guys took your weapons and escape, etc.

Its more funny taken out of context.

The only quotes that ever stick with me are the funny or clever ones. I don't really see much point in repeating them overwise. That said-

"...I don't know how you keep it up hour after hour, I'm dead tired after 15 minutes." Lowe - Shining Force

"Well I am tried of working the farm, sure I've grown close to the sheep but I'm starting to long for some wanton violence." Rolf - Knights of Xentar

"Stupid dwarves! You've obviously never fought with someone who fights like a true fairy! Err... wait. Forget it." Hero - Knights of Xentar

"This is a choco- uh... chukuboo..." Ruby - Lunar EBC

"Special Attack- Love Love Dancing"--Final soldier from Gunstar Heroes.

Last Battle for the Genesis is LOADED with great ones. They usually consist of 2 people having a conversation that makes NO sense whatsoever. Like:

"I wanted you to meet Alyssa" --> response: "Now you have the look of a Hero!"

"What's the matter!" [actual punctuation] --> response: "I want to become a hero!"

"Aarzak! Save the world!" --> response: "I am the only one who can save this world!"

"For the Duke I will fight to the end!" --> response: "What kind of being is Duke?"

That's just the first level. Definitely check that out for more.

You! Invaders! Get you the hot bullets of shotgun to die! - Battle Rangers

It might take you a little while to memorize the exact quote here. You'll have to be somewhat fluent in Engrish.

Some pearls of wisdom dropped by various villagers in Castlevania II: Simon's Quest:

"Get a silk bag from the Graveyard Duck to live longer."
"I've been waiting for a good looking guy like you."
"When I was your age, women loved me."
    "Take my daughter, please!!"
"You've upset the people. Now get out of town!!"
    "Let's live here together."

And one of my favorites, said by the Gazurtoid in Starflight:

"And Blulbgrb begat Urgglbb who begat Glbrrgb who begat Lubrbglb who begat Bulgrb. Thereby was the begatting begun."

I would direct you to Whazzat, but that doesn't seem to be the point of this exercise. I can, however, easily remember the quotes I submitted personally:

"Then the extinguishing woods revived with green, and the danger of the nature was eliminated." -Ending, Bubble Bobble (Game Boy)

"I whipped those weenies to smithereenies!"
"Oh Higgins, you chubby hunk of bubbler! You saved me!"
-Higgins and Tina, Super Adventure Island II (SNES)
