HOW TO HOOK UP MULTIPLE SYSTEMS?

Just searching for some advice. What is the best way to hookup multiple rf systems without loosing picture quality? Say 20 Units. I have the rf to coax converters like u see on ebay but can't find a coax switch box for more than 2-4 units. I have heard that if you piggy back them in a chain you loose quality after about 3 piggy backs. I am sure someone out there has found the perfect solution.

Well, first of all, if any of the systems can use any superior connections, use them if possible.
Yes, I am pretty sure piggy backing rf switches will degrade quality, and probably your TV channel quality if that is hooked to the end like I had my set-up for awhile.
I dont know about a manufactured switchbox that accomidates that many cables, but since a coaxial cable has only 2 "wires", one being the ground (I AM right, aren't I?), I would imagine it would not be too difficult to make your own switchbox. That is, if you are handy at all with electronics.

Currently I use 6 Interact A/V system selectors. One is the main selector that the other 5 run into so that way it is only "pggy-backed" on one level. For my un-modded RF consoles I plug the RF output (RCA Plug) into the video input at one of the selectors ports and then I have the video output plugged into an RF De-Modulator to convert it into A/V outputs and then plugged into the main system selector as as an A/V signal.

I have some consoles plugged through an RF daisy chain

Order goes from first to last:

Saturn > SNES > N64 > NES > Mega Drive.

I found that the Mega Drive using it's standard RF connector, was incredibly fuzzy and the signal was very weak. I then decided to use the Master System's RF and the picture cleared up significantly (though it's still not perfect).

My point is that when doing a daisy chain, you can get them to go for longer if you put the RF in a certain order and sometimes use different ones (my N64 uses a SNES RF unit instead of it's standard one).

but if im not mistaken the sega uses a simular rf to c64 and amiga ? anyway the nes / snes one is better

Yes well I don't have AV cables for my Mega Drive, nor any spare AV sockets on my switchbox to plug the others into.

So why don't you just watch the insults in the future smart arse.
