Default Got a few new games from a co-worker..did he rip me off?

Well bought all these nintendo games from a co-worker friday for $50 and wondered if they are good or did I just get ripped off?...asking because I'm new at collecting old school games and just want to get some more games for my beloved Nintendo .

    Anyway I got these:

Duck Tails 2 (had first one..never knew there was a sequel)
    Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers
Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers 2
Bubble Bobble 2 (again had first and never knew of a sequel)
    Adventure Island
    Adventure Island 2
    Paperboy 2
    Mc Kids
    NES Action Play Football
1943 (again own 1942 but never knew of a sequel)
    Blaster Master
    Willow

So for all of them was $50 to much or was these a good find for me?.

    Thanks everyone

Did they all have boxes and manuals? If yes, I'd say you paid a fair price -- a couple of those games are uncommon, such as Paerboy 2 and Bubble Bobble 2. If just carts, well.....better luck next time.

id say thats an excellent find. wish i was you! bubble bobble 2 complete fetches at least 70 alone, and a complete rescue rangers 2 about 30. so for those 2 games alone, they are worth about double of what you paid. very nice!

EDIT: that is if you are talking about THEE bubble bobble 2, and not rainbow islands

Nice find and not too pricy at all, getting it boxed/complete is the best!

No man it's the real Bubble Bobble 2 as it says nothing about the rainbow islands you mentioned and I really didn't think it was rare as I never heard of it or Chip and Dale 2..I'm very happy now

And the digital press guide says:
all prices and rarities are for loose carts

    Bubble Bobble Part 2 - R6 - $55
    Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers 2 - R5 - $15
    Paperboy 2 - R4 - $10
    Duck Tales 2 - R5 - $10

The rest are mad common, but that's $90 right there, and even more if you got the box and manual in good condition for all of them. plus, most of the others will probably fetch at LEAST $5 loose, $7 or so complete. I'd say you made out alright. I've been looking for Bubble Bobble 2 for a very long time and never came across one. good for you.

Wow, that was worth it for Bubble Bobble 2 alone.

It's DuckTales dammit... one word not spelled with an i. :P

And yeah $50 covers Bubble Bobble 2 at a good price. Great find.

Definatly a good price. Like everyone said just Bubble Bobble 2 is worth that. But even the more common games are kinda pricey games like Adventure Island. Real good find. Any chance we can see some pics?

That's what I thought too, but it's two words in the DP guide.

Depending on condition, you got a lot for your money - in playability if nothing else.

Tell you what - if you are still unsure if it was a good deal or not - I'll buy the lot from you for $50 right now.
Great to deal with: Leonk, AdamG, Cheesystick, DigitalPress, ButtaSuperb, Hydr0x, Darth Vader, Gary Gnu, Portnoyd, NexWave, Postermen, Kaine23, ARCZero, kai123, Buyatari, Minilek, DREW, bighab, AlanD, Flack

Welp then there's a typo in the guide. :P

I was staring at the logo all this weekend working on my own pirated DuckTales DVD. So yeah it's sort of imbeded in my brain right now.

Cool. You going to just put this on vcd or make an actual dvd of it?

I would buy all those games for 50 myself even if they weren't all that rare. Few of those (read most) are some solid games and if others are as good as the first (duck tails, chip and dales) then i say you got one hell of a deal.

DVD, we just got a DVD burner this weekend. I can fit 10 episodes per disk (there's 100 of them total), and I've already finished volume 1. But Ulead DVD Movie Factory kinda really sucks for making menus so once I download something better I'll probably start all over again. :P

If you check ebay there's all these auctions popping up for "DuckTales DVDs" so I'm not the only person to have had the idea. :P Although I don't plan on selling them.

I've been having the most fun customizing each slection menu for the different volumes. I already did the one using the artwork from the movie and the next I plan to use artwork from the video games (NES and Amiga).
