Default Censorship in e-Reader Ice Climber

Well....I got to about the 4th mountain or so when I realized..."Hey, YOU CAN'T CLUB SEALS ANYMORE!"

Good thing that animal right activism had some influence between 1984 and 2002, otherwise those Ice Climbers would still be up to their naughty, seal-clubbing antics.....

By the way, I'm not kidding. The little blue seals aren't in the game anymore. ^_^

    Little Blue Seals??!!!

*turns in Official Ice Climber Maniac badge*

I had no idea there ever were little blue seals in the game. And I must have played it about a bazillion times. Maybe even a gazillion.

How did I miss them?? Where are they? What do they do?

Maybe it was only in the Famicom version of the game. The Ice Climber ROM I have for my NES emulator has little blue seals in it....they're basically the same as the Topis. You touch, you die. ^_^

A-HA! I only played the US versions, in and out of the arcade. That would definitely explain it.

*goes off to find Famicom version*

NOT IF I FIND IT FIRST!

The last few times I looked on Ebay, I found a pirated cart and a Famicom disk. Only problem with the Fami disk was that it came with 4 others, so the auction ended at $50+.....
