    Default Intellivision Case

Yo, my bud back in Oregon that collects NES stuff put an Intellivision package he got at a garage sale on ebay. There's nothing really rare, just a bunch of common carts/overlays, 2 intell2 controllers, intellivoice and intelly2. My question concerns the carrying case that he picked up - I dont see it described in the Intelly non-cartridge items section of the guide. His is plastic with the fake wood that all 80's products have, space for the console and 32 carts that he says fit perfectly. He says there might have been a top to it, but he doens't have the top. Anyone know anything about this?

Are you sure the storage unit is specifically designed for the Intellivision? I'm not disputing it, but I don't see anything proving it on the picture here.

it's unfortunate the games are not boxed.. INTV collectors are religious about the boxes.
Fear your thoughts because they become your words
Fear your words because they become your actions
Fear your actions because they become your habits
Fear your habits because they become your character
Fear your character because it becomes your destiny

Therefore: Thinking and nurturing positive thoughts, at any point in your life, can change your destiny.

Well that picture's a little hard to see clearly, but I believe I have the same case.

    Here's a picture of mine:

If this is the same one, then no, it isn't made specifically for Intellivision. But was a universal type case that works for Intellivision & Atari. Maybe other systems too, but the first Intellivision & the 2600 fit best. Actually the Intellivision II doesn't even fit properly, it's too small. As far as the cart arangements go, it fits 17 Intellivision carts perfectly across the back. The left side is made for Atari carts (it fits 15 to be exact), and the slots are too big for Intellivision games(they'll fall over if placed there).

Here's a picture of it with an Atari & games inside:
    http://images.andale.com/f2/108/115/...ase_atari1.jpg

And here's another with an Intelliviision & games: http://images.andale.com/f2/108/115/...e_intelly1.jpg

The woodgrain is only on the front side of it, none on the sides or back. And the lid is very generic with only a little crest in the center, looks like the Krull weapon thingy. There is no name on it anywhere, so I have no idea who made them.

I think i might have that case. it came w/ my atari 2600. there was another case . Strange how some people would need 2 atari cases.
Somebody once told me to get a life.

I told them I sold it for money to buy video games.
