Not really a find but I got the Metroid GCN bundle, Soul Calibur II, and a memory card for a little under $150 today.

I got every thing in these pictures for six bucks.

Lots of common 2600 games, but several that are less than common. I had never seen a double sided cart before, it's pretty cool. Most of the carts had instructions too. Plus, add in an old pong, a six switch 2600, a small atari, and a boxed 7800, makes for a pretty good day.

I'll say. I don't even OWN an atari. I'd have jumped all over that.

Clay - I would kill to find that stuff for 6.00!

I've been needing an Atari 7800 forever and I don't have most of those games either. I'm still an Atari n00b. ...Used to have SO MANY when I was little.

    Good find, congrats!

I went to a large thrift yesterday that I'd never been to. They had games, but nothing I needed, especially at their outrageous prices.

    For example:

    Mario/duck hunt: $8.99?!?!

    Genny Sports games: $7.99

So I got nothing. Why do I always feel like I never find anything good? Oh well. I'll just go huggle my $4 Turbografx....

I was headed to Wally Mart about 9:00 am this morning to pick up some shampo when I saw one of those very large group fund raising yard sales. If I had known about it I would have gotten an earlier start. In the area with the electronics I first spoted a 2600 JR and then notices a large box with 2600 Carts under a back table. Someone had already bought them, dam! The early bird gets the Atari Stuff.

A little more looking and I spot another box with carts that turns out to be Color Computer carts and books. On further searching it appears that a COCO lover has donated all of there stuff to the sale. I just wanted the carts but the guy manning the area wanted to sell it all, so for $28.00 I got two large boxed with the following:

24 COCO Carts 8 of which I did not already have.
    3 Color Computer II's
    1 Color Computer III
1 Color Computer Multi Pak (Allows 4 carts in the computer at a time)
    1 duel disk drive
About 100 Disk with games and other software. A lot of them are Rainbow Mag Disk.
All the manuals for the carts and software
About 15 Books about COCO programming

What am I going to do with 4 more COCO's? I think they only go for about $5 on ebay.

Went to FYE today. My brother and I bought a lot of stuff, because of a clearance sale. Here's the lot (all items complete)

    GAMING RELATED ITEMS:
    PS2:
    Robotech: Battlecry---$15
    Used PS2 DVD remote---$0.99

    PSX:
Used wireless controller (I think so, anyways. It's a wierd box)---$1.99
    Used 1MB memory card---$1.99

    GBA:
    Cartoon Network Speedway---$16.99
^ my brother got that, heh

    Dreamcast:
    Used Space Channel 5---$5

    NON-GAMING RELATED ITEMS:
My brother got 4 glowsticks for a dollar and the album "Sport of Kings" by Triumph for $13

I got the album "Where you want to be" by Taking Back Sunday for $14

I don't know why I just included those in this post. Part of my purchase, I guess...

There was a whole other rack of PSX/GBA games for sale on clearance that I didn't go through, so I'm going back. Hey You Pikachu was complete for $5. Worth the buy, or not?

EDIT: I saw 4 copies of some college sports game for the SEGA CD at FYE...sega cd at fye? what's THAT doing there?

I will post pics tomorrow. I was talking to my freind and he said he has some video games. He told me he has the telster arcasde with all 4 games, everything boxed. I thought worthless, then looked on the rarity guide... mmmm... how much do you think its all worth?
