Default Colecovision Expansion Module #1 incompatibility...

I know there are some compat issues with certain 2600 carts with the adaptor. Can anyone confirm that Kangaroo (2600) works or not? It refuses to work on this end. Bowling is actually another game that will not work.

I took the following info from Coleco FAQ:

    Expansion Module #1 -

The following Atari 2600 cartridges are incompatible with the 2600 Adapter:
    Texas Chainsaw Massacre - JH
Most Tigervision titles - 19 (but Miner 2049'er works - JH)
All Supercharger games - 19 (will work, but only if cover of expansion module has been removed) - 26

    Expansion Module #1 Adapter -

This device plugs into Expansion Module #1 (2600 Adapter) to allow some Atari 2600 cartridges which have compatibility problems to be played. Supposedly it was only sent through the mail to those customers who called Coleco with complaints of 2600 cartridge problems. - JC

I read that these "incompatible" games will work if you remove the adapters cover. I never tried it myself.

im sure they will work- the special adaptor that makes the games work is like a special made male-female adaptor that allows the pins to connect properly or something. i am actually getting one in the next month so I will have to take photos when it arrives.
