No one does, but this is the Linux/Unix theory - if you can put it on something, put in on there. I think it's neat if not totally unnecessary.

Holy crap. It's been a while.
it is kind of cool that it is on gba, even though i have absolutely no clue what you would use it for.
I'm sure MAME will support UNIX on Scramble hardware in due time.
just shows u the GBA's capabilities!

The moral is, don't **** with Uncle Tim when he's been drinking!
But...But....it's so COOOOOL!
look at the capabilities.....
I was just reading earlier how someone made their Gamecube a webserver while running Linux. You can also play NeoGeo roms on your GCN via an emulator in Linux.
I agree with all above -- both interesting and pointless.
while its all fine and great that someone could do this, there is no real point or useful application.....just a big waste of time so that someone could brag that they were the first to do it

I'd be impressed as shit if someone made a web server out of a GBA though...I was just reading earlier how someone made their Gamecube a webserver while running Linux. You can also play NeoGeo roms on your GCN via an emulator in Linux.

If you can make a Web Server out of an Apple Newton, you probably can do the same with a GBA.Originally Posted by rbudrick

Here's something I'd like to see. Just for fun.

Sadly, the GBA doesn't have Quartz Extreme. The SP does though. And with the DS, you'll be able to span across displays!Originally Posted by Richter
