You'd think so, but I used it on a bright-white Odyssey 400 box & it left no visible residue.
Of course, YMMV. Always test an inconspicuous area first.
Lighter Fuel removes sticky-ness normally but i dunno if u can use it on paper based objects

Well, the Ody 400 box is matte white, not gloss. I'd still test a single page of the manual just to be sure, but I haven't seen it leave a residue on anything yet.
