That's what I'd want them to do, rather than what I expect them to do. :P Even if they did that, though, there's still the issue that I'd like them to actually translate the script rather than change the name of every single character/place/move/item/etc. to whatever the heck they please.

And seriously, I could ask the same question of you. You may follow America, but it appears that you haven't a clue what's going on in Japan. You DO realize that their economy is in a slump right now, don't you? The Japanese game industry isn't doing as well as it used to, but people still have interest in games and buy as many as they can reasonably afford. It's not as if they're just choosing not to buy/play games out of waning interest or that their game market crashed.

That isn't cocky, that is what you do to make a great game, you have voice work you redo the game to match. Anything less is a sign of a weak product.
