Default Approximate value for "Satan's Hollow?"

    So.

The one arcade cabinet I have a true hankering for is the one and only "Satan's Hollow." I've been planning on setting the world record on this game for about a year now.

I've heard that the game was fairly rare back in the day. I've only been able to play it at Funspot Arcade in Weir, NH. That's the only place I've seen a working machine.

How much should I be expecting to pay for this game in pretty good condition?

    Silly question, sure.

But I want to be prepared, dammit!

Not sure, but at least the cabinet is fairly generic Midway style, so you're not looking at something funky. The biggest issue I see, assuming the board itself isn't horribly rare, is that Tron-like joystick. I can't imagine that's an easy one to find in red.

IIRC, and I may be wrong, there was one of these on the MS Scotia Prince at some point in the late 80s. I know there was one that I used to hit on my many journeys between NS and MA, on either that boat or in the tiny 'arcade' that used to be in one of the (probably now gone) Yarmouth malls. That was a pretty good game.

This one went for $150, which seems a little low for as good of condition as it was in. I'd guess $300 or so would be a normal price. It's definitely not an A list classic, more of a B lister, but as all those big name classics get gobbled up, people are going to begin driving the price up on those lesser known games as well.

Hell I hear ya brother ... of course, I've driven to Houstin for a game before which is what, 8 hours each way? CA's a bit more of an investment time wise, but for $150, I'd drop the $250-$300 for shipping as well if it was a game I really wanted.

To be honest, rather than go through all that trouble for a game running on mostly standard hardware, I'd probably convert a dynamo cab and just buy the board. Or I'd put a dedicated p166 in there with the rom...
