Default DEMON ATTACK & BLUE MEANIES Commodore 64 cartridge NOT A

Does anybody remember this game? All I can find on the inet is Demon Attack from Atari and later systems. I had this game on a black cartridge about the size of a SNES cart, and it had a silver sticker with some artwork. I would put the cartridge into a brown box I believe. My Commodore 64 had a brown keyboard. The joystick I used was one of those hard black rubber ones with an orange circle button in the corner of the square base. Damn thos joysticks were hard to move. Anyway, my monitor was only black and white and color monitors must have been pretty expensive back then or something. It functions like the old Atari version, but it's muchmore ghetto looking, very block, no 'graphics' persay, just sprites. I also had a QBert cartridge, and man was that hard on a greyscale monitor;-) I'd really like to play this game again, but I can't find the original c64 rom to save my life.

I'm also looking for ATTACK OF THE BLUE MEANIES. I think I had this on my Commodore 64 too. I think it might have been a math game or something, but I'm not sure, but I remember really liking it. Of course nothing was blue to me, just black/white. It might not have been on C64, might have just been some ghetto computer.

Any suggestions where I could find these games? Roms or originals?

The copy of Demon Attack you're trying to remember on cart would have been for the Vic20 instead. Never came out on cart for the C64.

As for Attack of the Blue Meanies, can't help you there, no mention of it for the C64 in GB64 for starters...

Default DEMON ATTACK, does a Vic20 rom exist?

I think I've found all the Vic20 rom databases (found Blue Meanies From Outer Space), but I can't find Demon Attack to save my life. How come it's not in anyone's rom archives? Just wondering,

I believe as Imagic is now part of Activision, you won't find them in general as Activision don't allow any of their ROMs to be publically distributed.

I've got the ROM sitting on my HD here, can't remember where you have to attach it though memory wise in Vice to work in. I'll get back to you on that one, along with actually attaching the ROM to a post for you to get.

    Default demon attack...

That would be excellent! I've been looking for DA forever! I found Blue Meanies From Outer Space. I suppose VICE is the emu I would use for a PC running WinMe or XP, right? You can send the file to djmagicfly@juno.com . I really appreciate it:-)

Demon Attack did come out for the C64, but only on disk. I've seen a At8b 400/800 DA cart, and V20, but no C64.

How does it feel to find out all these years later that you can plug the Commodore 64 into a television?
