Didn't those originally come with black controllers? I knew some guy selling a TV/NES combination similar to that for $100 and it came with black controllers.

I've heard the same, yes. Looks like they wore 'em out or lost them. Or bought it secondhand and had to replace the missing controllers. Heh, add a NES onto something, and it's gold!

I'd have to imagine that the unit would be worth a lot more with those controllers. In fact, when I was talking to the guy selling it, he was making a much bigger deal out of the controllers than he was the actual unit.

i ALWAYS look for one of these each time i go into a thrift store, however no dice. maybe i will have to pick this up... i am in need of a new tv.

and yes, it did come with two black controllers, which are harder then hell to find. 2 years ago a guy a CGE had the TV with i think one of the black controllers. very nice.

Black controllers sounds really cool. Does anyone have photos of them? Do they still have gray accents in the middle, and red buttons? The Japaneese Hotel Nintendo had controllers that looked normal. Finally we get something cool and different in the US!
Condoleezza Rice is nice, but I prefer A Roni!

That's very cool. I'll have to keep an eye out for one of those.
